2023-24: Had a breakout year becoming the top golfer on the MSUB roster...First Team All-GNAC selection...led the team and was eighth in the conference in scoring average (73.5)...competed in 10 events and 28 rounds...had four top-10 finishes...posted his best three-round tournament of a 212 (70-75-67) with a 10th place finish at the GNAC Championships...posted his best two-round tournament score of 140 (70-70) at the Hardrocker Invitational...shot his single round career low (67) in the final round of the GNAC Championships.
2022-23: Competed in three events and seven rounds for the Yellowjackets...held a scoring average of 82.71...had his best finish at the Beartooth Invitational where he took 12th place after posting a 162 (78-84)...also shot his single round season best (78) at the Beartooth Invitational.
2021-22: In second season in the program, saw action in two events and played four rounds…posted a season-best single-round score of 77 at the Beartooth Invitational on Sept. 28, as well as a season-best two-round score of 159 at the event…posted a W-L record of 43-38 (.531) on the season.
2020-21: Fall season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…competed in one event, playing two rounds as a true freshman…posted a two-round score of 156 including a season-best single-round score of 76.
The Classical Academy: Team captain...most valuable player two seasons...named all-state twice...named all-area twice...14 high school tournament wins...tournament low was 64 strokes...Colorado Spring Metro League 4A class champion...two top-10 state finishes, including sixth place and eighth place.
Allen on O'Halloran: "I am very excited about the addition of Liam to our men's golf program. He is a great student that has a clear vision of what he wants to accomplish with his education at MSUB and has a very accomplished resume as a golfer. He has high profile results from Colorado High School events as well as top level AJGA and junior golf events. Liam will make an immediate impact on our program and be in the mix the moment he steps on campus. He has a complete game, he has a very fundamentally sound golf swing but more importantly has a great wedge game and short game, which will travel well on the courses in the GNAC. He is a hard worker, loves to practice and is always striving to get better which is exactly what it takes to be successful at this level."
O'Halloran and choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB for many reasons. First, Coach Allen was awesome, I really enjoyed him and believe he runs a great program. The few players I met on the team were friendly and made me feel welcome. The school during my preview day felt like the right school for me. It was the right size and the staff were very helpful. Finally the location. Montana is a beautiful state with all the outdoor inserts I enjoy doing, golfing and fly fishing."
