2024: Competed in all five events for the Yellowjackets, completing three of the five...ran his best five kilometer race of the season at the MSU Bobcat Twilight where he took 51st place overall and crossed the line at 16:48.9...ran his best eight kilometer race of the season at the GNAC Cross Country Championships at 27:35.6 and came in 68th place overall.

2023: Competed in three events for the Yellowjackets...had his best 6k at the ISU Bengal Invitational where he took 24th place and finished with a time of 20:05.8...ran his best 8k at the UM Invitational where he took 57th place overall and finished with a time of 27:21.7.

2022: Competed in in all seven events, including the GNAC Championships and the NCAA Dll West Region Championships...ran his best 6K at the Gage McSpadden Memorial where he finished in 15th place overall with a time of 20:06.0...ran his best 8K at the GNAC Championships where he took 45th place and finished with a time of 26:20.9.

Bozeman High School: A multi-sport athlete in cross country, basketball and track for the Bozeman High School Hawks...as a senior, placed 17^th in a highly competitive 3,200 meter run final at the MHSA Class AA State Track & Field Championships...placed sixth in the 1,600 meters at the 2022 Midland Roundtable Top 10 meet with a 4:39.30...in cross country, was Bozeman's fifth runner at the 2021 MHSA Class AA State Cross Country Championships, at which he helped the Hawks place fourth as a team...best finish at the state meet was 30^th as a senior...ran his personal-best 5K time of 16:45.4 at the Butte High Invitational...also a three-year varsity basketball player for Bozeman High School...helped the Hawks reach the Class AA title game as a senior.
 
Woehl on May: "I'm glad that Wyatt is following in his sister's footsteps and coming to MSUB. I enjoyed having Mariah on the team and I know the same will be true of Wyatt. He's motivated and knows how to work hard, so he'll fit right in with our distance runners."
 
May on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because my sister went there and said amazing things about the coaching staff and how it treats the athletes. It sounded like a program I wanted to be part of. MSUB has a lot of different majors, which is nice because I'm not quite sure what I want to major in yet. I decided I wanted to be a collegiate athlete pretty late in my running career, but I knew I was going to work hard to get to that level. MSUB showed interest early on and believed that I can grow to be one of the best. That kind of trust is hard to find, and in all my conversations with Coach Woehl and Coach Bjerke, they were nothing but excited to have me join the team."
