2010 (Junior): Ran in eight races as a junior ... Recorded one top-5 performance with a 4th place finish at the MSUB Invite (Sept. 4) after running a 16:17 on the 5k course ... Had one top-10 with a 6th place finish at the Dickinson State Invite (Sept. 24) in a time of 27:17 on the 8k course ... Had season-best 8k time of 26:02 at the Yellowjacket Invite ... Ran at the NCAA West Regional with a time of 35:45.

2009 (Sophomore): Competed in eight meets for MSUB ... Finished ninth at the Dickinson State Invite (Sept. 25) ... Turned in a top 8k time at the Yellowjacket Invitational (Oct. 10) with a 26:38.00 ... Ran a 34:28.9 10k at the NCAA West Regional.

2008 (Freshman): Finished among the top three in four races ... Was the runner-up in the Rocky Mountain/MSUB dual meet (Sept. 4).

Manhattan High School: Earned four letters in track ... As a senior he won the 800 and helped his team win the Class C state championship ... Was sixth in the 1600 and 3200 as a junior ... His team won four district and three divisional titles ... Lettered in basketball and cross country ... In cross, he was a four-time Class B All-State runner ... Helped his team win the state championship as a sophomore.
