Indoor Track & Field: Competed in six meets...Placed third in the 3,000 meters at the CSC Open with a time of 9:42.39 on Jan. 18...Took sixth in the Bobcat Preview 5,000 meters with a time of 16:58.89 on Dec. 6.
Cross Country: Competed in four races including the GNAC championships where he ran for a career best 27:06:6 (56th)…33:06:2 at West Region championships (135th)…averaged a time of 29:56 over four meets…Venema has been a staple of consistency for the Yellowjackets over his career and will be looking to keep the momentum going for track season...Named men's cross country player of the year at the Buzzies.

Track and Field: Ran 5000, 10000, 1500, and 3000 meter events in eight meets...Took 19th in the GNAC Outdoor Championships with a 10,000 meter time of 35:28.28...Season best 10,000 meter time at Montana State Open, 35:19.14 (3rd place)....sixth place 5K at Yellowjackets/Battlin Bears Open March 30.Â

Cross Country: Competed at six events including the GNAC Championships and the West Region Championships...placed 50th in the GNAC race with a time of 27.03.10 over the 8K course...finished eighth at the Yellowjacket Open with a time of 22:49.80 over the 4.2 mile course.
Track and Field: Ran the 5,000-meter, 1,500-meter, and 800-meter while participating in six meets...collegiate-best 16:06.74 in the 5K at the WAR XI meet in Spokane, Wash...posted times of 2:05.22 in the 800 and 4:15.22 in the 1,500.
