Huntley Project High School: Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track for the Huntley Project High School Red Devils…in cross country, was an all-state selection three times and had top-25 finishes at the MHSA Class B Cross Country Championships in all four years of high school…was Huntley Project’s top finisher at the state cross country race three times…placed 6th at the Class B MHSA State Cross Country Championships as a senior…ran his personal-best 5K time of 16:21.6 at the Joliet Invitational, at which he placed second…won three cross country races during his high school career…specialized in the distance events in track, running high school personal bests of 54.91 in the 400-meter dash, 2:04.33 in the 800 meters, 4:41.12 in the 1,600 meters and 10:29.54 in the 3,200 meters…capped off his high school career by placing 11th in the 1,600 meters, 13th in the 800 meters and 19th in the 3,200 meters while also running a leg on Huntley Project’s fifth-place 4x800 meter relay team…as a junior, placed 6th at the state track meet in the 1,600 meters, 10th in the 3,200 meters and 13th in the 800 meters…was the only freshman to qualify for the Class B state track meet in the 800 and the 3,200 meters in 2019…won Huntley Project’s 7-year award in cross country…in the classroom, was an all-academic selection in all four years.
