2023:
Competed in three events for the Yellowjackets...ran his best 6k at the Black Hills State Invitational where he took 37th and finished with a time of 21:35.1...ran his best 8k at the UM Invitational where he took 74th and finished with a time of 29:13.1.

2022: Competed in seven events for the Jackets in 2022, including the GNAC Championships and the NCAA Dll West Regionals...ran his best 6K at the Gage McSpadden Memorial where he took 29th place and finished with a time of 20:50.8...ran his best 8K at the GNAC Championships where he took 58th place overall and finished with a time of 27:38.6.
 
2021: Competed in all six races, including the 2021 GNAC Championships and the NCAA DII West Regional races, during his collegiate cross country debut season…was consistently MSUB’s fifth varsity scorer…recorded his first collegiate top-10 finish at the Providence Open on Oct. 1 by placing sixth with a 29:55.7 8K time…helped MSUB place second at its home meet by running his season-best 8K time with a 27:55.4…set a personal-best 10-kilometer time at the NCAA DII West Region Cross Country Championships with a 35:35.6 on Nov. 6.

Apple Valley High School: Ran four years of varsity cross country and track…Peiro's senior track season was cut short due to the pandemic…led his team to the CIF Southern Section finals in cross country as a senior in 2019…in track, Peiro had two, top-10 finishes at the Mojave River League Finals meet in the 3,200 meters…earned all-league honors in cross country as a senior…named MVP of his cross country team as a freshman and was a team captain by his senior year…also ran club cross country and track for the SoCal Roadrunners Club team…club career included a 15:41.47, fifth-place finish at the 2016 USATF Southern California Association Junior Olympic Championships…personal high school bests are a 4:46.6 in the 1,600 meters, 10:15.03 in the 3,200 meters and a 15:59.1 three-mile in cross country.

It seemed like the place for me as soon as I stepped on campus when I visited. I can’t wait to see what success I will find with my running and academics at MSUB.”
