Cross Country: Competed in six of seven races in 2018 and had a season best 20th place finish at the Gage McSpadden Invite, running an 8K in 29:20.3...Placed 146th at the NCAA West Region Championships with a 10K time of 35:40.39.
Track and Field: Placed 13th at the Air Force Invitational in the 400 meter dash with a season best 51.40 seconds...Ran 4x400 meter relay in 3:32.86 for eighth place at the Jacksons Invitational/NB Invite...Mile run at CSC Open 7th place in 4:37.30.
2017-18:
Cross Country: Competed in four races as a freshman...his top finish came at the MSUB Yellowjacket Open when he finished in 30th with a time of 25:27.9 on a 4.2-mile course...placed 88th at the GNAC Championships in 29:13.3 over the 8K course.
Track and Field: Placed 11th in the 800-meter at the GNAC Championships with a season-best time of 1:55.78...competed in the 4x400-meter relay at five meets and ran the 1,500 on two occasions with a best time of 4:10.51. During the indoor season, Henson placed seventh in the 800-meter final at the GNAC Championships...also competed in the mile during the season with a season-best of 4:35.47.
Fergus High School: Four-year letter winner in track and field and two year letter winner in cross country…all-state in track and field and cross country during the final two years of his high school career…holds school record for the 800-meter…member of the school record setting 4x4 relay…voted toughest and most determined for both track and field and cross country.
