MSUB: Has cheered for the Yellowjackets for the past two seasons.

Skyview High School: Lettered four years in cross country and three in track at Skyview High School...Also competed in wrestling where he won a state championship in 2005...Won city cross country championship and placed third at state in 2007...Earned Most Improved honor in 2006 for cross country.

Personal: Parents are Cornelius and Linda Valkenburg...Plans on majoring in business management.
