Academic All-GNAC 2020 (Sophomore)

2020: Medical redshirt...Academic All-GNAC.

2019: Earned time in 11 games, making three starts as a true freshman…had first-career hit on April 27 at Central Washington…went 1-for-14 (.071) on the season…had one RBI…was successful in only stolen base attempt…had season-high four putouts on April 12 against WOU…had season-high six assists on April 13 against WOU…made three appearances on the mound, logging one full inning…had first pitching strikeout on April 27 at CWU…helped the ‘Jackets claim their fourth regular-season title in the last five years and tie the school record with 33 wins…helped the team win its first-ever GNAC tournament title and claim its first-ever berth into an NCAA D2 West Region Championship tournament.

Park High School: Competed for the Livingston Braves American Legion team for four seasons…was a 2017 Montana Legion Baseball all-state selection, after posting a slash line of .464/.433/.533 during his junior season…also stole 35 bases and scored 61 runs in 40 games played last spring, while fielding at a clip of .931…was a member of the National Honor Society for three years, carrying a cumulative high-school grade point average of 3.78.

Coach Waddoups on Petrich: "Zander is one of our most fun guys to be around and brings a great positive energy to the team daily. His stuff on the mound is electric.  He has a bright future in baseball as he continues to compete."
