Junior Season (2006):  One of only three players to play in and start all 50 games...had 40 hits off 151 at bats for a .265 batting average...scored a team-leading 27 runs...drove in 23 runners, hit eight doubles, one triple, and one homerun...had a team-leading 53 total bases for a .351 slugging percentage...went 15-16 in stolen bases...went 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI against Northwest Nazarene (3/17/06)...went 4-for-4 with three runs and an RBI against Lincoln University (3/29/06)...had ten multi-hit games...had three 4-game hitting streaks...had six games with multiple runs...finished the season ranked first in school history for runs scored in a single season with 27...finished the season tied for first in school history for hits in a single season with 40...finished the season tied for first in school history for stolen bases in a single season with 15.

Willie Crtalic is a 2003 graduate of Senior High School where he was a member of the honor roll all four years.  Crtalic played baseball for the Billings Royals and the College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls for two years prior to transferring to Montana State-Billings.  He is the son of Don and Carla Crtalic of Billings.

"To get a player of Willie's caliber is exciting," said head coach Chris Brown.  "He is a big strong kid that runs well, has a very strong arm, can cover ground in the outfield, and drives the ball gap to gap on a consistent basis.  He is also a very talented all-around athlete, which fits our philosophy.  It's always good to get a player that can play all three outfield positions and bats in the middle of the line-up.  Willie brings a great work ethic and leadership abilities to the table as well.  We look for big things from him both on and off the field."

Crtalic is a business management major.
