Became fourth All-American in program history, earning NCBWA honorable mention honors…became second academic All-American in program history…unanimous first-team all-region selection…CoSIDA academic all-district selection…first-team all-GNAC selection…led team and GNAC in hits with 63 and doubles with 16…led team and ranked second in the GNAC with 104 total bases…led team and ranked third in the GNAC with a .484 on-base percentage…led team and ranked fourth in the GNAC with 42 runs scored…ranked second on the team and fifth in the GNAC with a .662 slugging percentage…ranked third on the team and 10th in the GNAC with 33 RBIs…became third player in MSUB history to eclipse the .400 batting average mark in a season, hitting .401 with 63 hits in 157 at-bats…hit seven home runs and drove in 33, hitting primarily out of the leadoff spot in the lineup…stole three bases in five attempts…was 1 of 3 players on the team to start all 40 games…playing primarily as shortstop, posted a .905 fielding percentage in 126 chances…had a season-high four hits on three different occasions…had a season-high three RBIs on four different occasions…had hitting streaks of 12 and 11 games during the season…ended career on a 20-game reached base streak…earned GNAC Player of the Week for Feb. 22-28…academic all-conference selection…named MSUB Baseball Player of the Year at The Buzzies.

2020: Established himself as a starter playing a combination of second base, third base, and left field...Appeared in 16 games with 12 starts and 37 at bats...Recorded 10 hits with 11 runs scored, three doubles, one triple, and one home run...tied for ninth on the team with nine runs batted in...held a .438 on base percentage and .486 slugging percentage...stole two bases in two attempts...Recorded multi-hit games on two occasions, including February 1 against Point Loma Nazarene and March 6 at Saint Martin's...Hit a home run on February 22 against Colorado School of Mines and posted a season high three runs batted in...drew nine walks...made nine putouts and held a .905 fielding percentage...drew three walks against Western Oregon on February 29.

Miles Community College: Will Riley was a significant contributor in his two-year career for the Pioneers. After being selected as region IX freshman of the year, he followed up last year with an impressive sophomore campaign. As a first team all-conference selection Riley compiled 83 hits (423 BA), drove in 58 RBI, smacked 5 HRs. MCC Stats Page

Coach Waddoups on Riley: "Will is a great teammate and person.  He has game changing ability at the plate.  He can run, takes his walks, and shows the ability to hit for power and average.  He will play all 4 infield spots and bounces to the outfield as needed. This ability is due to his athletic ability and shows how valuable he is to the group."
