2022: First-team all-conference selection in debut season with the Yellowjackets…started 42 games primarily at second base…ranked fourth on the team with a .284 batting average…reached base at a clip of .395 and slugged .405…had seven doubles, three home runs, and 22 RBIs…scored 33 runs…stole two bases in two attempts…earned GNAC Player of the Week and NCBWA West Region Player of the Week for April 4-10 after helping MSUB collect two wins with two walk-off hits on the same day against Western Oregon…had a season-high two doubles on Feb. 26 at Colorado Christian…had a season-high eight putouts on Feb. 27 against Colorado Christian…had a season-high six assists on March 26 against Northwest Nazarene…was involved in all 11 of MSUB’s GNAC-record 11 double plays turned during a four-game series against Northwest Nazarene on March 25-26…hit first home run as a Yellowjacket on Feb. 6 against CSU Los Angeles…posted a .923 fielding percentage in 142 chances…turned 23 double plays…earned the athletic department’s Buzzie award for Moment/Play of the Year for his two walk-off hits against Western Oregon.

Estrella Foothills High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball…was a two-time team most valuable player and during his senior year he was the regional defensive player of the year…was a three-time first-team all-section selection as a second baseman, and won a pair of silver slugger awards…earned three letters in football where he was a three-time all-section linebacker and was voted as his team's player of the year as a senior…was a National Honor Society member, student body activities coordinator, and was a National Football Foundation scholar athlete.
 
Coach Waddoups on Godfrey: "We are looking forward to watching Tyler's left-handed bat play in our league. He is a solid defender and very athletic. He will bring some maturity to our group with his baseball IQ and experience. Coach (Matt) Hape helped us secure a talented ballplayer that is a high character individual. We look for great things out of Tyler."
