2020*: Appeared in 14 games with nine starts during the shortened 2020 season...played five games at left field and four games in center field and hit eighth in the lineup...Finished fifth on the team with a .317 batting average...recorded 16 hits, third on the team...marked three doubles...led the team with three triples...slugged two home runs, and 11 runs batted in...Held a .683 slugging percentage and .310 on base percentage...stole one base in only attempt...three multi-hit games...season best three hits in five at bats against Saint Martin's on March 6 with four runs batted in, one triple, and one home run...season high two runs scored on two occasions, March 1 against Western Oregon and March 6 against Saint Martin's. 

2019: Honorable mention all-GNAC outfielder…started 31 games and played in 44 in first season with the ‘Jackets…batted .282 in 110 at-bats, with eight doubles, two triples, and five home runs…had 21 RBIs and scored 23 runs…reached base at a clip of .347 and posted a slugging percentage of .527…stole two bases in two attempts…had a walk-off hit on April 18 against Northwest Nazarene…went 4-for-5 as a pinch hitter…had a season-high five at-bats on March 9 against NNU…had a season-high three runs on April 27 against CWU…had a season-high three RBIs in three different games…had a season-high two home runs and eight total bases on April 6 against SMU…had a season-high four putouts on May 10 against SMU…helped the ‘Jackets claim their fourth regular-season title in the last five years and tie the school record with 33 wins…helped the team win its first-ever GNAC tournament title and claim its first-ever berth into an NCAA D2 West Region Championship tournament.

Yakima Valley College: Brings a wide range of skills and collegiate experience to the Yellowjackets'…as a sophomore in 2018 batted .348 with one home run and 40 RBIs…stole eight bases…played in 41 games and tallied 155 at-bats…scored 43 runs to rank third on the team…as a freshman in 2017 hit .338 and drove in 15 runs…stole 16 bases in 38 games….earned second-team all-conference honors following the season.
 
Kennewick High School: Competed in baseball for four years and football for two…on the diamond in right was a first-team all-MCC selection as a senior…was also voted most employable in his senior year and was named his school's spring student-athlete of the year.

Coach Waddoups on Detloff: "Tyler is a clutch performer.  He is a guy you can count on when the game is on the line.  He has had an outstanding career to this point and will continue to be a big contributor moving forward."

Detloff on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I love the winning culture. I feel like it is the best program for me to be in and has the best coaches to surround myself with to develop as a person and baseball player."
