2022: Made two appearances out of the bullpen in collegiate debut season…earned first collegiate save on May 6 against Central Washington.

2020: Redshirted.

Wilsonville High School: Three-year letterwinner on the diamond as a pitcher and outfielder…two-time second-team all-NWOC selection as a pitcher…honorable mention all-league outfielder…during 2018 summer season led team in home runs and RBIs…four-year letterwinner on the basketball team…helped Wildcats to a runner-up finish at the state tournament.
 
Coach Waddoups on Thebiay: “We are so excited at the return on Nolan Thebiay. He took a short JUCO break from our Jackets program after the challenges of COVID. He will be returning as one of the most respected teammates in our clubhouse due to his work ethic, how he treats people, and his servant leader mentality. We are getting one of the highest quality of men to return to our program and are excited for him to make an immediate impact for us off the field as well as on the mound.”
 
Thebiay on choosing MSUB: “I really enjoyed my whole visit, had that feeling of comfort and warm welcome, and I knew this is where I’d like to be for the next four years. The coaching staff and players were great and very upfront with the program’s expectations. I am really looking forward to MSUB and can’t wait to be a Yellowjacket.”
