2022: Second-team all-conference selection…led team and ranked second in the GNAC with 75 strikeouts…made 14 starts and posted a 5-5 record on the hill…totaled 69 1/3 innings, ranking second on the team…led team with four complete games…ranked fourth on the team with a 5.32 ERA…earned GNAC Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA West Region Pitcher of the Week for April 19-25, after throwing a one-hit shutout against Saint Martin’s on April 21…had a career-high 11 strikeouts in the game against the Saints…threw a career-high nine innings on Feb. 18 at Colorado Mesa, including a season-high 115 pitches…academic all-conference selection.

2021: Pitched in nine games making eight starts in second season on the field…logged 31.0 innings with a 10.74 ERA…struck out 29 hitters which ranked third on the team…threw a season-high six innings on May 7 against Central Washington…had a season-high eight strikeouts on March 12 at Northwest Nazarene.

2020: Held a 3-1 record In the starting rotation during shortened season...Had a 3.00 earned run average and 1.62 WHIP over 21.0 innings pitched...Earned GNAC pitcher of the week for February 3-9...Made five starts and allowed 21 hits, 7 earned runs, and walked 13 after facing 82 hitters...Held opponents to a .256 batting average and five extra base hits...Finished third on the team with 25 strikeouts...Tossed a season high 6.0 innings against Western Oregon on February 29...Had season best seven strikeouts at Western Oregon on February 29...Did not allow an earned run until third start of the season...struck out six against Point Loma Nazarene in opening series start on January 31.

Charles M. Russell High School: Competed for the Great Falls Chargers American Legion team for four seasons, playing primarily as a catcher…in 2016-17 was tabbed as his team's most improved player...all-state pitcher and outfielder in 2018.

Coach Waddoups on Houlihan: "Houlihan has the ability to be one of the most dominate arms in our program. Every pitch he throws has plus movement which makes it hard to square him up.  He stepped up huge in our rotation and we look for him to continue to be an anchor to a great staff."

Houlihan on choosing MSUB: "I loved the atmosphere, and I could go to college close to home, and pursue baseball."
