Coach Waddoups on Field: "Lane is a good athlete that can move around the field and play multiple positions.  He has some pop in his bat which will lead to plenty of extra base hits." 

Field on choosing MSUB: "I was interested in attending out of high school but decided to go to the junior college route. After my senior year I met with Riley Drongesen who now coaches at MSUB. I signed in the fall of 2018 to attend San Jose State University but life got in the way and I was not able to attend. In the fall of 2019 I reached out to Coach Drongesen to see if he was interested in having me at MSUB and here we are. All came full circle."
