2019: Honorable mention all-GNAC…rate of 1.77 walks per 9-inning game was fourth-lowest in MSUB single-season history…made 11 starts and carried a 5.46 ERA…posted a record of 5-3 on the year…ranked third on the team with 61 strikeouts…issued just 11 walks in 56 innings pitched…had a streak of 29 1/3 innings without issuing a walk from March 17 to April 13 and a streak of 35 2/3 innings without issuing an unintentional walk from March 17 to April 19…ranked fourth in the GNAC with an opponents’ batting average of .257…pitched a season-high seven innings in three different games…had two complete games, on March 24 at SMU and on April 13 against WOU…had a season-high 12 strikeouts on March 17 against CWU…had 10 strikeouts on April 19 against NNU…helped the ‘Jackets claim their fourth regular-season title in the last five years and tie the school record with 33 wins…helped the team win its first-ever GNAC tournament title and claim its first-ever berth into an NCAA D2 West Region Championship tournament.

Coach Waddoups on Mackintosh: "Kevin can really pitch.  He gets competition and his stuff plays.  He has shown the ability to be a rotation arm and with his stuff could line up as a stopper as he matches up well on both right and left handed hitters."
 
Mackintosh on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I want to be on a competitive team that wants to win as badly as I do. The team has a great atmosphere that I'd love to be a part of. This school fits my personality and will help me pursue my career."
