2021: Played in 12 matches and earned two starts in second season in the program…scored one goal, on Sept. 15 in MSUB’s 5-2 win at South Dakota Mines…took 12 shots and placed seven on target…had a season-high three shots on goal on Sept. 11 against Westminster…played 456 minutes for an average of 38.0 minutes per game…played a season-high 73 minutes on Sept. 11 against Westminster…academic all-conference selection.
2020: Fall season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…started both matches in the spring 2021 season in his debut in a Yellowjacket uniform…scored one of the team’s three goals in its 3-2 win over Rocky on Feb. 24…scored on only shot taken…totaled 136 minutes for an average of 68 minutes per game.
Skagit Valley Community College: Played two seasons...Started 19 games with four goals, six assists in 2019...NWAC All-Region in 2019.
West Valley High School: all-league nominated four years...team captain.
Coach Chameraud on Ramirez: "Edgar had two successful seasons at Skagit Valley College. He is quick and technical, and can also finish. He brings more depth and quality in our offensive positions, which will add more competitions within the team. He will also add experience to our team, and we hope he will be a key member of our team."
Ramirez on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I heard many great things about the program and the environment there and coach Chameraud made me feel very welcomed and at home. I also felt that it was the right choice for me to push me athletically and academically to be the best I can be."
