All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference Season
Academic All-GNAC 2020 (Senior)

2020: Appeared in three games and recorded two at bats as a pinch hitter...recorded one walk on February 15 against Colorado State Pueblo and one hit by pitch on February 22 against Colorado School of Mines...Named academic all-GNAC.

2019: Played in eight games, going 2-for-7 (.286) at the plate…became sixth player in MSUB history to record a home run for first collegiate hit, doing so on April 27 at CWU…had one double and one RBI…scored one run…had one putout at third base…helped the ‘Jackets claim their fourth regular-season title in the last five years and tie the school record with 33 wins…helped the team win its first-ever GNAC tournament title and claim its first-ever berth into an NCAA D2 West Region Championship tournament.

2018: Redshirted.

Carroll College: Competed in football for three seasons with the Saints, playing primarily as a running back and holder on special teams…accumulated 192 yards on 33 attempts over eight games as a freshman in 2015…scored two rushing touchdowns and had three receiving touchdowns in two seasons…totaled 305 all-purpose yards in 18 career games, for an average of 16.9 yards per game.
 
Capital High School: Earned 11 letters in baseball, football, and basketball for the Eagles…was a first-team all-conference selection in baseball in 2014-15, playing primarily as an infielder…helped his team to a pair of baseball state championships…led his basketball team to a perfect 25-0 record including a state title under head coach Paul Rush…was a second-team all-state selection in football, after being named the Southwest Idaho District III Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015…named 2015 idahosports.com Male Athlete of the Year…academic all-conference selection in all three sports.

Poulson on choosing MSUB: “The last two years playing football, I met some amazing people and learned a lot about myself. All I could think about was how much I missed baseball, and when Coach Sutton gave me an opportunity to play baseball again I couldn’t pass it up.”
