Lutheran HS: A five sport athlete at Lutheran, Colt lettered in baseball and football for four years, basketball and track for two years and golf for one year ... During his last year at Luhteran he posted a 4-1 record at the mound with a 2.90 earned run average, throwing 55 total strikes ... At the plate held a .400 batting average and hit four home runs ... Helped his team to three consecutive conference champioships from 2009-2011, and also helped them to a second place finish in the region in 2009 ... All-state selection in baseball in 2011, and also all-conference 2010 and 2011 ... In football received all-state honors in 2009 and all-conference honors in 2009 and 2010.
