Spencer Pollock begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Yellowjackets during the 2018-19 school year.
As an assistant in 2018 Pollock helped the Yellowjackets capture their third GNAC regular-season title in the last four years, as the team won a school record 33 games.
A graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, Pollock completed his collegiate career competing within the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in 2017.
The Payette, Idaho native spent the summer of 2017 helping coach the Montana Class AA American Legion Bozeman Bucks to a conference championship and the program’s first-ever 50-win season.
Pollock held a .315 career batting average in the GNAC for the Crusaders, and was a second-team all-league catcher. He helped bring NNU its first-ever regular-season and tournament championships during the 2016 season.
Prior to his time at NNU, Pollock played under MSUB head coach Aaron Sutton at Treasure Valley Community College. He was the NWAC East Region Gold Glove winner, and ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winner during the 2015 season. At TVCC, he helped the team to three regular-season and postseason East Region championships.
Pollock is completing his bachelor’s degree in business management from NNU. He is a 2012 graduate of Payette High School.
