Ryan Swan begins his second season as assistant baseball coach for the Yellowjackets during the 2022-23 academic year.
Swan earned his bachelor’s degree in management from MSUB after a collegiate playing career at NCAA D3 Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash., and Concordia University in Portland, Ore. Swan was team captain and a Gold Glove winner during his collegiate career.
Swan grew up playing hockey and football in Billings, and baseball for the Burlington Little League and Rocky Mountain Senior League. After his freshman year at Billings West, Swan and his family moved to Spokane, Wash., where he attended Joel E. Ferris High School. He was an all-state baseball player and all-conference football player during his prep career.
Swan and his wife Elley Swan and have two daughters – Phoebe and Daisy – and one granddaughter, Averie.
