Coach Klemann, a native of Belgrade, MT, will enter his second season as an Assistant Coach at Montana State University Billings in 2013.
Klemann comes to MSUB after five seasons as Assistant Baseball coach at Jamestown College in Jamestown, ND. Klemann's primary responsibilities include working with infielders, outfielders, and hitters.
During his time at JC, Klemann helped lead the Jimmies to the 2010 Dakota Athletic Conference Championship, two Dakota Athletic Conference Tournament Championship (2009 and 2011), NAIA Regional and Super Regional Championships (2008), and an NAIA World Series Appearance (2008).
The Jimmies won more than 160 games, and were ranked in the NAIA Top 25 during each of his five seasons.
In addition to coaching for the Yellowjackets, Klemann has served in numerous collegiate summer leagues across the country. This past summer, Coach Klemann served as 3rd Base and Hitting Coach of the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the prestigious Northwoods League.
He has also held coaching positions as Assistant Coach of the Moses Lake (WA) Pirates of the West Coast Collegiate Summer League (2010) and Assistant Coach of the Asheboro (NC) Copperheads of the Coastal Plain Collegiate Summer League (2009).
Coach Klemann received his Bachelors Degree from Jamestown College, majoring in Health and Fitness Administration and Physical Education, with an emphasis in Coaching.
