    Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach
Jason Oatman enters his first year as a graduate assistant with the Montana State Billings baseball program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in university studies with an emphasis in exercise science from the University of New Mexico in 2010.

Hailing from Great Falls, Mont., Oatman played for the Great Falls Stallions in the American Legion Baseball League. After graduating from Charles M. Russell High School, he played baseball at the College of Southern Idaho for two years (2007-2008). Following his tenure at CSI, Oatman played for the University of New Mexico during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

Oatman continued his playing career after New Mexico, competing on an independent baseball team in McAllen, Texas, during 2011. Unfortunately he didn't play past 2011, as an injury cut his career short.

Over the past two summers Oatman coached the pitchers for the Great Falls Chargers (American Legion).

In May 2012, Oatman married his wife Alexis.
