Chase Hanson will be joining the MSU Billings Jacket coaching staff for the 2025-2026 season. Chase is coming off his second season playing professional baseball, most recently for the Billings Mustangs in the summer of 2025. Chase will work with outfielders and assist Coach Waddoups with the hitting. He has experience playing the outfield and also has pitched at the professional level.
Chase was drafted in the 38th round by the Chicago Cubs out of Edison High School in Huntington Beach, CA. Instead of signing he chose to attend school and play baseball at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Following two years at UNLV Chase transferred to Orange Coast College, a top Junior College in California, and finished his playing career at Hope International University where he later signed to play professional baseball.
