2009: Had an impressive first season as a Yellowjacket in the starting rotation...Went 4-4 on the year with a 4.72 ERA...Appeared in 13 games with 12 starts in 74.1 innings of work which was good for second on the team...Allowed just 19 walks on the year which was a staff-best and fanned 42 on the year for second on the team...Named GNAC Honorable Mention as a junior...Pitched a season-high nine innings in 6-4 win at Northwest Nazarene (3/7) where he fanned a season-best 10 Crusaders marking his first win as a Yellowjacket...Pitched eight innings three times on the year and seven innings twice.

Highland CC: Played two years at Highland Community College where he was a team captain and was a Resident Assistant as well as being homecoming royalty.

Lincoln East High School: Played baseball for two years in high school where he was named an Academic all-state selection in 2006…Also played legion baseball for the Nebraska Sluggers…A member of National Honor Society as well as being on the honor roll for three years and was homecoming royalty…Majoring in pre-medicine.
