Pacific Lutheran (2008): Played one year at Division III Pacific Lutheran where he helped lead the Lutes to a 24-14-2 record…Hit .377 with 23 hits, three doubles, one triple and two home runs in 19 games and 17 starts…Had 17 RBIs and committed just three errors on the year…Was a team captain.

Mt. Hood CC (2006-2007): Played at Mt. Hood CC where he was a team captain his sophomore year as well as an all-conference selection as a sophomore…Was a two-time letterwinner as well as winning the “Golden Rake” award as a sophomore…Helped his team to a school-record 27-3 mark with two league championships.

Southridge High School: Played third base and catcher in high school as well as being named to multiple honor rolls and having 4.0 GPA’s…A team captain and an all-league selection his senior year…Was the vice president of DECA and a member of National Honor Society…has a brother, Matt Hernandez, that played baseball at Oregon State University…Majoring at MSUB in psychology.
