- Where is the Beer Garden located?
The Exchange Club Beer Garden is located in the north end of the Alterowitz Gym lobby.
- Is the Beer Garden handicap accessible?
Yes! The Exchange Club Beer Garden is right near the elevators and offers standing room or seated options for fans.
- What time does the Beer Garden open/close?
The Exchange Club Beer Garden opens to 1 hour before game time and closes at the 16 minute mark of the second half for men’s and 6 minute mark in the third quarter for women’s games.
- Are children allowed in the Beer Garden?
Yes! Children 11 and under can accompany a parent or guardian into the Exchange Club Beer Garden. Anyone that appears to be under the age of 40 will be required to show ID for wristbanding and beer service.
- Is the game visible from the Beer Garden?
No, the game is not visible for fans to watch the live action from the beer garden and all beer must remain in the designated beer garden area. However, there is unlimited re-entry for fans. So you can enter the Exchange Club Beer Garden prior to the game for a beverage, head to your seat when the game starts, and return at halftime to the beer garden if you want.
- Can I take my beer to my seat in Alterowitz Gym?
No. Fans can visit the beer garden on the North end of the lobby to purchase alcohol beverages but ALL alcohol beverages are required to stay in the lobby beer garden. Fans are not allowed to take alcohol out of the beer garden area or into the main gym
- Will a beer garden be available at other Yellowjacket home athletics events?
At this time, the Exchange Club Beer Garden will primarily be available at home basketball games and select special event games (such as senior day). Additional sports may be added in the future.
