Montana State University Billings Yellowjacket Baseball - Regional and National Ranking History

This page contains a historical listing of the MSUB baseball program among the regional rankings. The official NCAA Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) rankings are used to determine the field of teams to compete in the NCAA D2 West Region Championships. Three official NCAA RAC rankings are released each season in the weeks leading up to the playoffs. Note that no RAC rankings were released in 2020 because the season was canceled on March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) rankings are selected by members of the media who vote weekly to rank the top teams in each region and across the nation. The NCBWA national rankings serve as the official top-25 poll for NCAA Division II baseball.
