Yellowjacket Award - Women's Basketball
Presented to the MSUB team which displays the most outstanding community service or engagement in the true spirit of Yellowjacket Athletics.

Male Athlete of the Year - Robert Peterson, Men's Cross Country/Track & Field
Presented to the male athlete, regardless of sport, adjudged to have been most outstanding in his sport(s) throughout the year.

8503 — Robert Peterson won the Male Athlete of the Year award for a second time in his career, after winning two GNAC titles and representing the 'Jackets at the NCAA National Championships in Indoor Track & Field.

Coach of the Year - Kevin Woodin, Women's Basketball/Men's & Women's Golf
Presented to the coach adjudged to have had the most outstanding season throughout the year.

Freshman of the Year - Preston Beverly, Men's Basketball

Breakout Player of the Year - Marissa Van Atta, Women's Basketball
Presented to the non-first year male or female student-athlete adjudged to have made the greatest improvement in his or her sport over the course of the year.

Comeback Player of the Year - Janiel Olson, Women's Basketball
Presented to the male or female student-athlete adjudged to have made the most profound impact on the field after overcoming severe injury in the previous year.

Scholar Athlete of the Year - Drew Christina, Baseball
Presented to the male or female student-athlete adjudged to have made the most outstanding achievement academically while being a member of a varsity sports team.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Award - Cameron Lee, Men's Soccer & Blair Street, Women's Track & Field
Presented to one male and one female adjudged by the MSUB Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to have been the most influential in terms of leadership academically and on the field.

Game/Event of the Year - Men's Soccer Come-from-behind 3-2 win over Concordia on MSUB Kicks Cancer Day
Presented to the team involved in the most impressive or outstanding single game or event throughout the year.
