2012 (Freshman): Soares made three starts that included 13 at bats before being sidelined by an injury.

Vista del Lago HS: Lettered all four year's at Vista del Lago HS ... Hit a career .475 with 14 home runs, 29 doubles, 23 triples, 102 runs scored and 99 RBIs ... Stole 66 bases and maintained a .989 slugging percentage ... Helped her team to a second place finish in division 2 and helped the team earn a spot in the CIF playoffs during her senior year ... She earned MVP and all-league first team honors all four seasons of high school ... In 2010 she was the offensive MVP and earned all-city honors at second base.
