Outdoor Track & Field: Kept momentum from his strong indoor season by running MSUB’s fastest times in the 200 meters (22.82) and the 400 meters (50.50), the latter of which ranks fifth in program history…competed in seven outdoor track and field meets, including the GNAC Outdoor Championships…placed 12th in the 400 meters, plus anchored MSUB’s 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams to sixth and eighth place finishes, respectively…helped MSUB’s 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams place sixth at the Bengal Invitational on April 29-30…placed fifth in the 400 meters and helped MSUB’s 4x100-meter relay team take second at the Trudnowski Open on April 22…won the 200-meter dash with a 23.54 and anchored MSUB’s winning 4x100-meter relay team at the Bauer Open on April 9…won the 400-meter dash with a collegiate-best 50.50 at the Yellow Jacket Spring Open on March 26…also helped MSUB’s 4x100-meter relay team place second and the 4x400-meter relay team place fourth at the same meet…won the 200 meter dash with a  collegiate-best 22.82 and ran another collegiate-best time in the 100 meters (11.42) at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
 
Indoor Track & Field: Started his collegiate career strong by breaking the school record in the 400-meter dash with a 50.60…competed in all five indoor track meets, including the GNAC Indoor Championships…placed 11th in the 400 meters and earned All-GNAC honors for running a leg on MSUB’s third-place distance medley relay team…also anchored MSUB’s 4x400-meter relay team that placed seventh at GNACs…broke the school record in the 400 meter dash with a 50.60 to place third at the Mountain State Games on Feb. 11-12…also helped MSUB’s 4x400 and distance medley relay teams place seventh at the same meet…took second in the 400 meters at the Don Holst Open on Jan. 29…helped MSUB win the distance medley relay and placed second in the 200-meter dash with a 23.86 at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…won his heat and placed fourth overall in the 400 meters at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14
 
Cole Valley Christian: Ran track and field for three seasons and four seasons of cross country…helped Cole Valley Christian win a 2A state title in the 4x200 relay as a sophomore in 2019…also helped the Chargers place second in the sprint medley relay at the state meet as a sophomore…capped off his high school career by placing second at the state meet in the 400 meters and fourth in the 200 meters as a senior…in cross country, qualified for the state meet in all four years…personal bests include a 12.19 in the 100 meters, 23.17 in the 200 meters and a 50.53 in the open 400 meters.

Woehl on Ralston: “I think Ben will be a great fit on our team and could be competing right away for a spot on our 4x400-meter relay team. In high school he has had tremendous range being a scoring runner for his cross-country team and then running the 200 through 800 in track and field.”
 
Ralston on choosing MSUB: “The reason why I chose to go to Montana State University Billings is because it is giving me the opportunity to compete at a higher level in a sport that I love.”
