Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in seven outdoor track and field meets as a true freshman, including the GNAC Outdoor Championships…placed 16th in the shot put with a mark of 10.48m (34-4.75) at GNACs…threw a lifetime-best 11.13m (36-6.25) in the shot put to place 13th at the Bengal Invitational on April 30…set a collegiate-best in the hammer throw with a 30.17m (99-0) mark at the Trudnowski Open on April 21…also placed eighth in the shot put at the same meet with a 10.91m (35-9.5) toss on April 22…threw a lifetime-best mark in the discus with a 28.89m (94-9) toss at the Bauer Open on April 8-9…took seventh in the shot put with a 10.87m (35-8) at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
Indoor Track & Field: Competed in three indoor track and field meets as a true freshman, including the GNAC Indoor Championships…placed 13th in the shot put with a collegiate-best indoor mark of 11.06m (36-3.5) at GNACs…threw a collegiate-best 9.09m (29-10) in the weight throw at the Mountain State Games on Feb. 11…placed 11th in the shot put at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.
Glasgow High School: A three-sport varsity athlete in track and field, volleyball and basketball…Was a two-time divisional champion in the shot put…Qualified for the MHSA Class B Track and Field State Championships twice…Best finish at the state meet was fifth in the shot put as a freshman…Was a two-time all-state selection in track…Also was a four-year letterwinner as a forward on the basketball team, and three-year letterwinner as a middle blocker on the volleyball team.
