Older brother of MSUB women’s track and field athlete Bella Klein.
2021-22
Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in six regular-season outdoor track and field meets, plus the GNAC Outdoor Championships…focused on the javelin and the hammer throw…placed 13th in the javelin at GNACs…threw a collegiate-best 48.42m (158-10) in the javelin at the Bengal Invitational on April 29…took second in the javelin at the Trudnowski Open on April 22…threw a collegiate-best 32.39m (106-3) in the hammer throw at the Bauer Open on April 9…also took third place in the javelin at the same meet…placed third in the javelin at the Yellow Jacket Spring open on March 26…won the javelin and placed sixth in the hammer throw at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
Indoor Track & Field: Competed in all four regular-season indoor track and field meets…threw a collegiate-best shot put toss of 10.95m (35-11.25) at the Mountain State Games on Feb. 11-12…set a lifetime best in the weight throw with a 9.75m (32-0) toss at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…took 10th place in the shot put at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.
2020-21
Outdoor Track & Field: Competed at eight outdoor track meets, including the GNAC Outdoor Championships…competed in all four throwing events, but specialized in the javelin and the hammer throw…set a new personal best in the javelin and placed 11th at the GNAC Outdoor Championships with a 151-2 (46.07)…placed sixth and set a new personal best in the hammer throw with a 96-2 (29.31) at the Trudnowski Open on April 24…set a new collegiate best in the discus with a throw of 81-1 (24.72) at the Battlin’ Bears/Yellowjacket Open on April 1.
Indoor Track & Field: Season canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic…threw a 34-7 (10.54) in the shot put and a 30-11 (9.42) in the weight throw at the Stinger Open on Feb. 19-20.
Roundup High School: Earned letters in track and field, basketball, and football...Fourth place in 4B district championship javelin throw...Four-time academic all-state selection.
