Younger sister of MSUB men’s cross country and track athlete Carson Jessop.

2021-22
Outdoor Track & Field: Did not compete in outdoor track.
 
Indoor Track & Field: Competed in all four regular-season indoor track meets…ran the 800 meters and the 4x400 meter relay in all four meets, plus the distance medley relay twice…had a season-best time in the 800 meters with a 2:43.31 and placed third at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…at the same meet, helped MSUB’s distance medley relay team place second…helped the MSUB 4x400 meter relay team place second at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.
 
Cross Country: Did not compete in any races as a freshman.
 
Corvallis High School: A four-year varsity letterwinner and team captain in both cross country and track…qualified for the MHSA Class A State XC Championships twice…best finish at the state cross country meet was 19th as a junior in 2019…personal bests include a 2:37.52 in the 800 meters, 6:02.07 in the 1,600 meters, 13:37.0 in the 3,200 meters and a 20:39.0 5K in cross country…won her team’s most improved award in 2019 and the Blue Devil Award in 2020…was an academic all-state selection in both cross country and track in all four years.

Woehl on Jessop: “I’m excited to have Anna join her older brother, Carson, on our team. Like all our newcomers, she’ll be strengthening our pack and she will be in the mix to be one of our top five runners.”
 
Jessop on choosing MSUB: “I chose MSUB because it offers the courses and degree I’d like to pursue. It is also where my older brother goes to school.”
