2022: Made 14 starts in 22 appearances and pitched five complete games as a sophomore…finished the season with a 5.58 ERA (16th-GNAC), 49 strikeouts (T15th-GNAC) and issuing only 21 walks (3rd lowest-GNAC) in 80.1 innings of work (17th-GNAC)…went 2-9 as the pitcher of record…in her first start of the year, went 3.0 innings and gave up one earned run on three hits against Academy of Art on Feb. 11…recorded three strikeouts, zero walks and had only one earned run on six hits in a 3.0-inning relief appearance against Regis on Feb. 13...had three strikeouts in a 1.2-inning relief appearance at Western Oregon on Feb. 26…got her first win of the season by striking out one batter, issuing one walk and giving up two unearned runs on two hits in 4.1 innings at Central Washington on March 12...had five strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work against Cal State San Bernardino on April 1…struck out seven batters and only gave up one earned run on three hits while issuing zero walks in a complete-game win over Dominican on April 3…tied her career-high with eight strikeouts and gave up five earned runs on seven hits in 7.0 innings of work against Northwest Nazarene on April 8…named academic All-GNAC.

2021: Made eight starts and eight relief appearances as a true freshman…finished the season with a 5.12 ERA, including 101 hits (15th GNAC), 44 strikeouts (team-high, 7th GNAC) and a team-low 15 walks (2nd GNAC)…compiled a 3-5 record in eight starts with 67.0 innings pitched (8th GNAC)…opponents hit .341 against her, which was tied for a team-low and 13th in the GNAC…threw four complete-games…picked up her first collegiate win with a one-inning relief appearance against Carroll College on March 2…struck out a career-high eight batters in the second game of a doubleheader against Carroll College on March 3…earned the win in the season finale against Northwest Nazarene by striking out four batters, allowing two earned runs and five hits in seven innings of work on May 1.

Junction City High School: Three-year letterwinner…in three years complied an overall pitching record of 73-12…three-time all-state selection and a three-time Sky-Em Pitcher of the Year winner…helped her team to two consecutive Sky-Em League championships and in 2019 was an Oregon School Activities Association state semi-finalist…had 547 strikeouts and hit nine home runs with 80 RBIs…named the team MVP in 2017 and 2018 and has been a team captain since 2017 along with being a National Honors Society member since 2016.
 
Coach McKinney on Kister: "Jenna is a pitcher from Oregon that can really spin the ball. She has good poise on the mound and makes the hitters work. Along with her pitching skills, she is also a great defender. We are happy to have her as a Jacket."

Kister on choosing MUSB: "I chose MSUB because from the moment I stepped on campus I fell in love. I was able to connect with the coaching staff and my future teammates were very welcoming. I felt at home and the decision to become a Yellowjacket felt right. I am excited to get started and so grateful for the opportunity to join the MSUB family."
