Biography

2010-11: Played in seven tournaments with a 78.64 scoring average in 14 rounds ... Had five top-5 finishes with a pair of wins at the fall and spring MSUB Yellowjacket Invitationals ... Played a low round of 74 twice, once at the Nebraska-Kearney Invite (Oct. 4-5) and the second at spring MSUB Yellowjacket Invite (Mar. 17-18) ... Had 10 rounds in the 70s to lead the team ... Earned GNAC All-Conference first team honors after finishing fourth at the GNAC Championships (Apr. 18-19) ... Earned GNAC Academic All-Conference honors.

2009-2010: Led the team with an 81.1 scoring avreage...Earned first team all-conference honors...Finished third in the RMAC in scoring...Played in eight tournaments with all 17 rounds counting for the team score...Had a team-high five rounds in the 70s with 12 in the 80s and was the only player with no rounds in the 90s...Opened the season with a third-place finish at the Adams State Invitational (Sept. 14-15)…Scored a pair of 76’s for the low-rounds of the fall...Helped lead the team to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

2008-2009: Competed in nine 18-hole tournament rounds with a scoring average of 80.44 ... Registered a career-best of 72 at the Rocky Mountain Invitational (Sept. 28-29) ... Went 2-0 in match play at the Collegiate Cup (Oct. 3-4) in the fall … For the year, had one of the most successful seasons in school history as she became the first Yellowjacket women’s golfer to reach the NCAA Championships … Played in 21 rounds with an 81.7 stroke average to lead the team … Finished tied for 70th at the NCAA Championships after finishing tied for 7th at the NCAA Regional to advance …  Named first team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference … Two-time RMAC Player of the Week.

Dawson County High School: Lettered four years in golf, basketball and softball...Earned first plac at divisionals and third at state as a junior...As a senior, won divisionals and won the state championship by nine strokes as a senior...Also was a standout basketball player earning all-state honors her junior and senior years...Three time all-state selection in softball...A member of National Honor Society and Student Council.

Personal: Born April 2, 1990, in Glendive, Montana...Parents are Bob and Kristie Stanhope...Majoring in psychology.

Kalli brings instant credibility and talent to our golf program. She was the Montana Class A State High School champion a year ago. I believe Kalli will make an immediate impact on our team and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. I feel very fortunate to have her for both golf and basketball.
