2021-22: Second-team all-conference selection in final collegiate campaign…ranked second on the team with a scoring average of 81.53 strokes per round…competed in all nine events and 19 rounds…had a pair of top-10 finishes…shot a season-best single-round score of 77 in final collegiate round on April 19 at the GNAC Championships…led the ‘Jackets with a seventh-place finish at the conference tournament, including a season-best two-round score of 156…posted a W-L record of 326-300 (.521)…top finish was fifth place at the Hardrocker Invitational on Sept. 20-21…academic all-conference for the third straight season.

2020-21: Fall season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…second-team all-GNAC selection…led the team and ranked seventh in the conference with a scoring average of 82.00 strokes per round…competed in all 12 rounds and all six team events during the spring season…tied for the lowest single round on the team with a 76 on April 2 at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic…took third place at the Hardrocker Invitational on April 12-13…had a season-best two-round score of 154 at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic…MSUB’s top scorer at the GNAC Championships with an 11th-place finish…named the MSUB Women’s Golf Player of the Year at The Buzzies…academic all-conference for the second straight season.

2018-19: Put together an impressive true freshman season, ranking third on the team with a scoring average of 82.39 strokes per round…had four top-10 finishes and a pair of top-five finishes…best finish was at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite, tying for third place with a 157 (79-78)…best two-round score of the year was a 157 at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite…best single-round score was a 74 at the RMC Fall Invite on Oct. 2…placed fifth at the SMU Invite on Oct. 5-6 with a 160 (85-75)…took seventh at the Warrior Invite on March 12-13 with a 169 (77-92)…played in nine events and 18 rounds.
 
Sidney High School: Capped a decorated career with the 2017 Montana Class A individual state title…as a senior won state after claiming first place at the divisional tournament…was an all-state selection for the third time…during her junior year won 4 of 10 tournaments that she competed in, and finished third at the divisional and fifth at the state tournaments…as a senior took first place in 6 of 9 events…helped the Eagles to the state title in addition to her individual championship…personal-best unofficial golf score is a 70…best high-school tournament score is a 75…four-time academic all-state honoree in both golf and basketball…four-time letterwinner in basketball as a shooting guard under head coach Ruben Moreno.

She had a stellar high-school career at Sidney, culminating with her individual and team state championship in October. I am excited to see Tierney's game develop in college, and I believe her best golf is yet to come. Furthermore, she is a tremendous student and person, and I look forward to working with her next fall."
 
Messmer on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I like the golf program and the family atmosphere. I truly appreciate the attention Coach Woodin has given me and the generous offer to play golf for the Yellowjackets. I feel the university campus is a nice size and within close proximity to my hometown. I have heard nothing but good things about the quality of education that MSUB provides. I look forward to furthering my education in the great state of Montana."
