Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in seven outdoor track and field meets…had the team’s fastest time in the 100-meter dash (12.92) and the third-furthest mark in the long jump (5.20/17-0.75), which also ranks fifth all-time at MSUB…had four top-5 finishes in the 100 meters and the long jump while running on MSUB’s 4x100 meter relay five times throughout the season…ran a season-best time of 12.92 in the 100-meter dash and long jumped a collegiate-best 5.20m (17-0.75) at the Dickinson State University Last Chance Meet on May 5…also helped the MSUB 4x100 relay team place second at the same meet…took third place in the 100-meter dash and fourth in the long jump at the Trudnowski Open on April 22…placed fifth in the 100-meter dash and fourth in the long jump at the Bauer Open on April 8-9…helped MSUB’s 4x100 meter relay team finish in second place and was fifth in the long jump at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Spring Open on April 2…helped MSUB win the 4x100 relay at the Yellow Jacket Spring Open on March 26…took second in the long jump with a mark of 4.85m (15-11) and helped the MSUB 4x100 relay team place second at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
 
Indoor Track & Field: Competed in three indoor track and field meets…had the team’s second-fastest 60-meter dash time of 8.32, which she ran twice…moved up MSUB’s top-10 ranks in the indoor long jump with a mark of 4.96m (16-3.25), which ranks sixth all-time at MSUB…placed sixth in the finals of the 60-meter dash with an 8.32 at the Don Holst Open on Jan. 29…also took second in the long jump with a mark of 4.73m (15-6.25) at the same meet…placed fourth in both the 60-meter dash (8.32) and the long jump (4.92m/16-1.75) at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…placed fifth with an indoor personal-best long jump of 4.96m (16-3.25) at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.

Indoor Track & Field: Competed in four meets with three top five event finishes...Placed 4th in long jump finals at the Dave Little Alumni Mile Jan. 25 with a mark of 4.86 meters...Placed fifth in the 60 meter dash and long jump finals at the Myrle Hanson Open Feb. 1.

Outdoor Track & Field:
 Eight outdoor meets, events included 100 and 200 meter dash, long jump, and 4x100 meter relay...Personal best long jump 16' 9.25" at Jack Christiansen Invitational for sixth place...second place 4x100 meter relay (50.03 seconds) at the Montana State Open.

Indoor Track & Field: Competed in the 60 and 200 meter dash at three indoor meets...Personal best 60 meter time 8.29 seconds at Air Force Invitational Jan 24-26 (28th place).

Fort Benton High School: Madison Thompson comes to the Yellowjackets on the heels of a Class C State Championship in the 100-meter dash helping the Fort Benton Longhorns capture the team title in Class C... she placed fourth in the sprint in 2016... she posted a personal-best of 12.9 in the 100 and also has a top long jump of 16’ 9”... Thompson was a three sport athlete in high school and was named all-conference in Volleyball in 2017 and all-conference in basketball in 2018.

“I look forward to continuing my education at MSUB and the opportunity to compete in my favorite sport at the collegiate level. I enjoyed my visit to MSUB and liked the coaches and the girls on the team.”
