Outdoor Track and Field: Moved up to second all-time at MSUB in the 800 meters (2:18.61), 1,500 meters (4:45.13) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:15.57) in an excellent outdoor track season…competed in six of the regular-season meets and was MSUB’s high-point scorer at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships…earned all-conference honors for placing third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the conference meet with an 11:23.11…placed 13th in the 800 meters and anchored MSUB’s 4x400 relay team at the conference meet…took ninth place and was the top non-Division 1 finisher in the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.61 at the Bengal Invitational on April 30…also helped MSUB run a 4:08.15 in the 4x400, which ranks sixth in program history, at the Bengal Invitational…ran lifetime personal bests in the 1,500 meters (4:45.13) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:15.37) at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 13-15…won the 5,000 meters at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open in 18:58.83 on March 19…named academic All-GNAC.
Indoor Track and Field: Broke the 800-meter school record and ran lifetime-bests in the mile (5:21.02, 3rd all-time at MSUB) and the 3,000 meters (10:45.34, 5th all-time at MSUB)…earned All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors for placing third in the 800 meters with a 2:16.07 at the GNAC Indoor Championships…set the school record in the 800 meters by winning her heat in a 2:15.86 at the GNAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 21…also placed 14th in the mile and 15th in the 3,000 meters at the conference indoor championships…kicked off her indoor season with five-straight personal bests…won the 800 meters (2:23.59) and the mile (5:21.02) at the Don Holst Open on Jan. 29…placed third in the 3,000 meters with a lifetime-best of 10:45.34 and helped MSUB’s distance medley relay team take second at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…won the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.72 at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14…named academic All-GNAC.
Cross Country: Competed in all five races and was MSUB’s top finisher in all of them…had three top-10 finishes…placed second at the Gage McSpadden Memorial XC Invite and covered the 5K course in 19:56.2…Finished in sixth place with a 17:37.6 at the University of Montana Open on Sept. 24…also finished in sixth place at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears XC Open with a collegiate-best 5K time of 18:50.5…led the way for MSUB at the 2021 GNAC Cross Country Championships by placing 24th and running a lifetime-best 22:49.4 6K…was MSUB’s top finisher at the NCAA Division II West Regional race by placing 78th with a 23:17.5…named academic all-GNAC.
2020-21
Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in nine of the 10 regular-season meets...placed fifth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the GNAC Outdoor Championships with a 11:17.82, which ranks second all-time at MSUB…also placed 10th in the 5,000 meters at the GNAC Outdoor Championships, plus ran a leg on MSUB’s eighth-place 4x400 meter relay team…moved up to #6 all-time in the 1,500 meters by placing second with a 4:56.66 at the Battlin’ Bears/Yellowjacket open on April 1…ran the team’s fastest 800 meters (2:30.52), 1,500 meters (4:56.66), 3,000 meter steeplechase (11:17.82) and 5,000 meters (18:54.55)…placed second in the 5,000 meters at the Trudnowski Open with an 18:54.55, which ranks eighth all-time at MSUB…named academic All-GNAC.
Indoor Track & Field: Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…earned USTFCCCA All-Region awards for the 3,000 meters, the mile and the distance medley relay...ran the tenth-fastest indoor mile in MSUB history with a 5:33.15 at the Stinger Open on Feb. 19.

Indoor Track & Field: Competed in seven meets including the GNAC Indoor Championships...placed eighth in Distance Medley Relay at the GNAC Championships Feb. 21-22 with a team time of 13:02.71...set personal best 3,000 meter time at 11:19.08 for 12th place at the Jacksons/Nike Invitational Feb. 7-8...Had three top-5 finishes...named Academic all-GNAC.
Cross Country: Competed in all five races of 2019…average race time of 24.10…three top 60 finishes Hardrocker Classic (14th), Rocky Mountain College (45th), GNAC championships (57th) …season-best time at Rocky Mountain College Invite at Amend Park on Sept. 9 with a time of 22:34:00 (45th).
2018-19
Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in nine outdoor meets, including GNAC Championships where Stoppel placed 13th in the 3000 meter steeplechase (12:38.53) and 8th in the 4x400 meter relay (4:15.78)…Season best 1500 meter time 5:19.82 at Montana State Open April 20 (finished 13th).
Indoor Track & Field: Third place mile at MSU Open and personal best 5:46.79…Competed in 400 meters, 4x400 meter relay, Distance Medley Relay, and 800 meters…800 meter 13th place at GNAC Indoor Championships, personal best 2:28.75.
Cross Country: Ran six races as a freshman...ran a career best 24:20.2 6000 meters at the GNAC Championships and placed 54th...placed 136th at the NCAA West Region Championships.
Billings West High School: Four-year letterwinner in track and three-year letterwinner in cross country…as a senior was captain of both cross country and track teams and was an all-state performer in cross country…earned academic all-state in track all four seasons and cross country sophomore-through-senior seasons…honor roll member all four years…won principal’s award as a freshman and a senior…earned rotary leadership award as a senior…helped the Golden Bears to a state title in 2016…competed in volleyball as an outside hitter for one season.
