Cross Country: Competed in six races with a top finish of 15th at the Montana State University XC Classic...competed at conference completing the 8K course in a collegiate-best 29:50.7.
Track and Field: Ran the 800, 1,500, and 5K as a freshman...ran the 3,000-meter at the Dickinson State Last Chance Meet where he finished eighth. During the indoor season, Pickell competed at three meets running the 3,000-meter, 800 and mile as well as the 4x400-relay and the distance medley relay...collegiate-best of 2:21.05 in the 800.
Siuslaw High School: Four-year letter winner on the Vikings’ track and field team and a three-year letter winner in cross country…all-state cross country 2016…all-league cross country 2014-16…all-league track and field 2016…named cross country team captain for the 2016 and 2017 seasons…track and field team captain 2017…personal bests in the 3,000-meter of 9:28, the 1,500-meter of 4:22 and the 800-meter of 2:10…best time in the cross country 5,000-meter of 17:11.
