Academic All-GNAC 2017 (Senior)

2017: Finished collegiate career strongly, scoring three goals and ranking second on the team with four assists…accumulated 10 total points to tie for third on the team…had the game-winning goal in MSUB’s first-ever win over Simon Fraser on Oct. 26 at home…started 13 games and played in 18 as a forward…placed 10 of 16 shots on target for a shots-on-goal percentage of .625…totaled 1,080 minutes played…played a season-high 92 minutes against Dixie State on Sept. 2…had a season-high three shots on two occasions…academic all-conference selection.

2016: Saw action in 12 games in first season with the ‘Jackets…logged 227 minutes, averaging 18.9 per appearance…took three shots, placing one on target…played a season-high 37 minutes on two occasions.

Peninsula College: In two seasons, scored nine goals and had 11 assists…academic all-Northwest Athletic Conference selection.

David Douglas High School: First-team all-state pick…selected as the Oregon Class 6A Mount Hood Conference Player of the Year…in his final two years with the Scots scored 14 goals and added 14 assists under head coach Logan Marquardt.

Coach Balog on Sanchez: "We believe Victor can add speed and technical ability on the wing going forward. He is crafty and has been part of a highly-successful junior college program coached by an outstanding coach in Andrew Chapman. Academically, Victor is a very solid student with a GPA well over 3.0. He's another player who will get the job done on and off the field."
