2017-18: Second-team all-GNAC…led team in scoring average and ranked fourth in the conference at 73.9 strokes per round…season scoring average was third-best in MSUB school history…participated in eight events and 23 rounds…had two top-10 finishes and one top-five finish…made par or better in six rounds…matched team season-low with a round of 69 at the WNMU Fall invite…notched personal season three-round best at WNMU Invite with a 213…tied for second place at the Yellowjacket Spring Invitational with a score of 217 (72-72-73)…tied for 10th place at the GNAC Championships with a score of 219 (72-74-73)…posted a score of 80 or lower in all 23 rounds played…academic all-conference.



2016-17: GNAC Freshman of the Year…second-team all-conference…posted second-lowest season scoring average in school history…led team and ranked fifth in the GNAC with a scoring average of 73.7 strokes per round…competed in all nine events and 26 rounds as a true freshman…posted second-lowest single-round score on the team at 67…led team with six rounds at par or better…had four top-10 finishes and one top-5 finish…broke 70 in two rounds…shot 79 or better in all 26 rounds on the year…season-best three-round total of 209 (67-72-70) came at the Rocky Mountain Invite on Oct. 2-3, 2016…was team’s top finisher in a pair of events…named MSUB Men’s Golf Player of the Year at the Buzzies…member of MSUB’s single-round team score of 269 that broke a school record on Oct. 2, 2016 at the RMC Invite.

Anaconda High School: Four-year letterwinner in golf and basketball…three-time all-state honoree in golf…won the 2015 Montana Class A state tournament…two-time division champion…has 13 tournament victories, including six in a single season…holds a career low-round score of 70…top season scoring average was 73.5…competed in the Callaway World Junior Golf Championships in San Diego, Calif., and the Junior Americas Cup, and the Montana-Alberta Cup two times…placed in the top-5 in state championship tournaments in each of first three prep seasons…four-year starter on the basketball team…scored 26 points in a game as a freshman and held a free-throw percentage of 85.0 as a senior…Mark Torney, high-school golf coach, is an Eastern Montana College graduate.
