Coach Stevens on Tall: “Kamal rounds out our 2015 recruiting class. He gives us yet another big body for the upcoming season. From what we have seen on film, Kamal is very athletic for his size and plays very hard. He is transferring from a world-class university and will be the kind of student we want to represent MSUB Basketball. With his addition, we will have the biggest team since I have been here. We knew that to compete in the GNAC we had to get bigger at every position. We feel like we have done that and we feel like we also have depth at all five spots.”
Tall on choosing MSUB: “I have a good feeling about MSUB. I think it is a great place for me to work hard, get a good degree, and develop as a person and an athlete. I think it is a great place to get the right focus. When I talked to Coach Stevens for the first time, I immediately felt like he was the right coach for me.”
