Central High School: Earned seven letters in soccer and basketball at Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyo…scored game-winning goal in 2012 Wyoming high school state championship game…led Indians to three top-3 state finishes…all-state selection and finalist for the Wyoming Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year in 2013-14…all-4A South League selection junior and senior seasons…team captain senior season…tallied 31 goals and 44 assists as a 4-year starter under head coach Scott Foster. Barber on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because of its academic reputation and the women's soccer program. I really liked the size of Billings and MSUB. I was also very impressed with Coach Krakowiak and the opportunity to play for a former Hermann Trophy Winner really got me fired up about MSU Billings. I am looking forward to a great four years as a Yellowjacket." Coach Krakowiak on Barber: "Madi is a very competitive and driven soccer player. She is a technical player with a tactical awareness on the field. Her soccer IQ is brilliant. She possess skills that are hard to teach. Madi can either play as a midfielder or forward and that is what's great about her. Her 3.72 GPA shows that she is serious about the academics as well."
