Feature Story: Hepfner races into Med School with NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
2014: Is on the MSUB top-10 list three times...holds the No. 2 spot at MSUB in the 6,000m with a time of 21:27...also holds the No. 5 spot in the 6,000m in 22.11 and the No. 6 spot in the 5,000m with a time of 18:33...senior season posted a second place finish and two third place results...best finish was at the Yellowjacket Invite where she was the runner-up in 20:04.53...took third at the Carroll College Invite in 14:48.19 and third at the Black Hills State Invite in 20:13.25...placed 15th at the GNAC Championships in 21:26.7 and 56th at the NCAA west region in 22:59.9...academic all-conference...NCAA postgraduate scholarship winner.2013: Placed first or second in every meet for the Yellowjackets last season...No. 1 finisher for the women's cross country team last season at the conference championships...No. 6 on the all-time MSUB record books in the women's 5000m with a time of 18:34 (2011).2012: 2011: After redshirting the year before,came on extremely strong in 2011 as she was the Yellowjackets' No. 2 runner all season ... in the season's third race, the 30th-Annual Bozeman Running Co./MSU Cross Country Open, she finished with a season-best 18:34.0 in the 5K ... the following week, she posted her best 6K time of the season as she cruised across the finish line in a time of 23:28.1.2010: RedshirtedBelt High School: Lettered four times in cross country, track and field, volleyball and basketball...led her team to four-straight cross country titles from 2006 through 2009...was voted most improved runner and most dedicated for cross country...helped her team to numerous district and divisional titles in track and field...she was named academic all-state for all four sports and was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Senate.
