BILLINGS, Mont.
– The Montana State University Billings men's basketball team is thrilled to unveil its 2025-26 recruiting class, featuring a diverse group of highly talented newcomers from across the country and beyond. This dynamic group includes one NCAA Division I transfer, five Division II transfers, one NAIA transfer, and two junior college standouts.
The impressive 2025-26 incoming class includes: Mason Landdeck from Seattle Pacific University, Miles Gurske from Cameron University, Cam Malray from Cal Poly, Croix Cox from Grayson College, Ty Cox from Regis University, Brandon Tchouya from Central Methodist University, Jonas La Tour from Seattle Pacific University, Jakob Milling from Sonoma State University, and Sam Phillips from Spokane Community College.
In the 2024-25 season, the Yellowjackets enjoyed another remarkable year under head coach
Luke Fennelly, winning 10 of their final 13 regular-season games and securing their place in the GNAC Tournament. There, they captured their first postseason victory since 2012 with a thrilling buzzer-beater. This triumph marked their 21st win of the season—the most since 2001-02—and their third straight 20-win campaign. In just two seasons, Fennelly has amassed an impressive 41 wins, a record only surpassed by Dick Edwards' 42 wins between 1978 and 1980. Heading into the 2025-26 season, Fennelly plans to build on his dominance with this talented signing class of nine newcomers.
"We're really excited about this incoming class joining our program," said head coach
Luke Fennelly. "It's a talented, versatile group that adds experience to our roster as well. Each guy brings a level of toughness that we look for in recruiting. They love being in the gym but most importantly, they are 'stand-up' individuals that will help continue building on the culture we've set in the locker room. It's always nice to bring a Montana kid like Sam back to Billings, and three of the signees have already played in the NCAA tournament, so there will be a championship expectation from day one. We look forward to having everyone on campus and go 'Jackets!"
