HEAR FROM COACH WILLIAMS: "Chris was huge for us this past weekend and really carried us defensively. She kept us in system consistently through the weekend and kept us in a lot of rallies. Chris is so scrappy, and she is someone we are lucky to have on our team as a great leader. We are excited for her to have a stellar senior year, and this weekly award is just a small part of what she can do for us."

Funk now sits at 1,426 career digs which is second most in MSUB history, behind Gina Langer with 1,530 career digs. She now ranks 27th in GNAC history for total digs and sits 25th in GNAC history for career digs per set (4.39).

UP NEXT: The Yellowjackets host Rocky Mountain College tomorrow night at 7:00 PM for the annual Rimrock Rivalry. In partnership with Intermountain Health the game will be Kids Night, where fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals for the Teddy Bear Toss in between sets two and three. All stuffed animals will be collected and brought to the pediatric unit by the volleyball team to hand out and interact with the kids.
