Betancourt pitched the Yellowjackets to their first victory of the season on Saturday, throwing seven innings in a 6-1 triumph over San Francisco State. The junior left-hander allowed just one run on six hits, while striking out five and walking none. He led all GNAC pitchers in innings pitched and was second in strikeouts as he got his season off to a stellar start.

UP NEXT: After two schedule changes due to heavy rain in California, the Yellowjackets will play game three of their San Francisco State series tomorrow February 6th at 10 AM (PST).
