BILLINGS, Mont. – GNAC Player of the Week article written by Evan O'Kelly Assistant Commissioner for Communications:
Nehler slugged his way to the weekly honor, leading all GNAC players with six RBIs, eight hits and a pair of home runs. Both of Nehler's long balls came in a 3-for-4 performance at San Francisco State, and he added one of his two doubles on the week. Nehler ranked second among GNAC players in hitting (.571), second in slugging (1.143) and fourth in on-base percentage (.533) in last week's games.
UP NEXT: The Montana State University Billings Yellowjacket baseball team heads to Grand Junction, CO to take on the #8 team in the nation per NCBWA Preseason National Poll, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks. The weekend series will feature a single game on Thursday February 15th at 2 PM, followed by a double header on Friday starting at 12 PM, and a single game Saturday at 12 PM.
